Haryana gang loot Rs 33 lakh from Churu bank, held within an hour

Six members of a Haryana-based gang fleeing after looting Rs 33 lakh from a private bank in Churu’s Rajgarh area were arrested by the police on Tamba Kheri- Hansiyawas road of Churu on Friday morning.

JAIPUR: Six members of a Haryana-based gang fleeing after looting Rs 33 lakh from a private bank in Churu’s Rajgarh area were arrested by the police on Tamba Kheri- Hansiyawas road of Churu on Friday morning.
SP (Churu) Tejaswani Gautam said that all the robbers were arrested within one hour of the crime due to an intense check and search operation. The six accused have been identified as Sandeep alias Ravan (24) of Fatehabad of Haryana, Gajendra alias Kala (30) a native of Hisar district in Haryana, Bablu alias Paramjeet (23) also a resident Hisar, Bhupendra alis Maalik (19), Azad (29), and Rishi alias Dharmendra, all natives of Hisar in Haryana.
“The police recovered Rs 33 lakh which they accused had robbed from the bank.
We also seized four fire arms and five live cartridges from the accused,” Gautam said, adding that the accused are notorious criminals from Haryana who had been involved in multiple robberies and dacoities in Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab.
“The accused wearing masks had barged into the private bank located at Sidhmukh town of Churu on Friday morning and robbed the bank at gunpoint. The accused are being interrogated to check their involvement in other criminal activities,” she said.
