Man hangs self after tiff with wife in Rajasthan

KOTA: After verbal spat with his wife, a 22-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his home in Khanpur town of Jhalawar district late on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Lalit Suman (22), a resident of Mahvir Colony, in Khanpur town of Jhalawar district. According to police, the youth embraced the hanging knot in front of his wife in the room but she thought her husband was just dramatizing the scene of suicide to terrify her.He was immediately rushed to local hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead, police said. The police handed over the body to family members on Friday morning after post-mortem and lodged a case of unnatural death under Section 174 of CrPc to ascertain actual reason of death.
Police said, the reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained as no suicide note was recovered from the possession of the deceased, however, a verbal fight between the husband and wife was reportedly underway before he took the extreme step of suicide.
