10 migrants injured as bus overturns on Agra -Lucknow Expressway in Unnao
There were 14 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident
KANPUR: As many as 10 migrants were injured after a private tourist mini-bus carrying them from Himachal Pradesh to Bihar accidentally turned turtle on Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Unnao district.
There were 14 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident and 10 of them were injured who have been shifted to district hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred when migrant workers were travelling to Antaur village under Bahera police station limits in Darbhanga district of Bihar from Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.

"The mishap occurred near 265 milestone at Lodhatikur village on Agra-Lucknow Expressway under the limits of Auras police station of Unnao at around 7 am," said SP Unnao Vikrant Veer.
The locals immediately alerted Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPIEDA) control room. The UPIEDA personnel rushed to the spot and shifted them to Auras Primary Health Centre from where doctors further referred them to Unnao district hospital. The police are investigating the case further.
"During preliminary findings, it came to fore that the bus driver dozed off and lost control over vehicle due to which it overturned," said an official privy to the investigation.
