UP: Two brothers crushed to death, kin claim murder

JHANSI: Two brothers riding on a motorcycle were run over by a SUV near Babina in Jhansi on Thursday. However, the family members of the deceased claimed it to be a murder accusing their neighbour Sukhdeo Sharma with whom they had a fight over a trivial issue in morning.
SO Babina, Eshwar Singh said that they have arrested the main accused Rohit Sharma alias Chhotu, who was driving the SUV and the search has been launched for others too.
“We are in processes of lodging an FIR against seven men and three women including Chotu and Sukhdeo under section 302 and other appropriate sections on the basis of the complaint given by the brother of the two deceased. We have also seized the vehicle used by the accused”.
According to the sources, Neeraj Bhargav (32) and Vivek Bhargav (25) used to run a flour mill in their home along with their brother in village Murari, under Babina block. A few days ago they had some problem with electricity connection following which they were asked to get it changed by the electricity department. On Thursday morning the duo had gone to get it altered at the junction box to which their neighbour Sukhdeo Sharma objected claiming it as illegal.
The argument soon turned into a clash following which they decided to lodge a police complaint. In the meantime Sukhdeo alleagedly called one of his relative Rohit Sharma alias Chotu to stop the deceased from going to police.
By the time the two brothers reached village Koti Chamraua, Rohit along with others intercepted them and hit their motorbike with his SUV killing them on the spot. He then fled the scene abandoning the vehicle.
Some passers-by informed the police who took both the brothers to the nearby CHC where they were declared brought dead. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
