Kolkata: At least two CBI officers, who were transferred from Kolkata, have been asked to stay back for a few months to assist in the investigation in the Saradha and Rose Valley Ponzi firm cases.
According to sources in the CBI, officers, like Chuzom Sherpa, played a crucial role in the Rose Valley Ponzi probe. She was also investigating several other Ponzi firms like the ATM Group.
Sherpa was also a part of the team that quizzed former Kolkata Police commissioner Rajeev Kumar in Shillong. Last month, she was transferred to Bhubaneswar.
Meanwhile, CBI on Tuesday interrogated Subhra Kundu, wife of Rose Valley chief Gautam Kundu, for over three hours at her South City residence.
