Update at 10.03pm: Buses full of migrant workers have arrived from Delhi and NCR. NDRF personnel along with health department staff taking care of labourers and their families. They are assuring early arrangements for their further journey to reach home after completing necessary formalities.
The NDRF personnel are making announcements for them to queue up for further travel. Food and water is also being arranged for them.
Update at 10.05am : Every individual who entered UP after March 1 to undergo medical checkup. The directions were given by UP CM Yogi Adityanath during a review meeting.
Update at 8.04am : A 31-member team was formed by the DM on Saturday to check hoarding of essential commodities like groceries and vegetables.
* The team would visit various parts of the city to check whether grocery shops are open or not and availability of essential items during the 21-day lockdown. They will also keep an eye on overpricing.
Update at 7.44am : Lucknow residents continued to struggle for essential commodities on the fourth day of nationwide lockdown on Saturday as most of the retailers ran out of stock due to insufficient supplies from wholesalers.
Update at 7.40am : As people continued to place orders in bulk through mobile, telephone lines of most outlets remained engaged for long. Those who managed to connect said they were informed that they would get the delivery in 2-3 days.
