MUMBAI: Powai police detected the murder of a Zomato delivery boy with the arrest of two men who stabbed the victim two times. The accused-Sachin Singh (20) and Jitendra Raikar alias Pran (32)-were caught within six hours of the offence that was committed on Tuesday night. Raikar was nabbed near Hiranandani Hospital, and Singh from Kurla Terminus before he could escape on a long-distance train to his village in Uttar Pradesh.

Police said the victim, Amol Suradkar (30), often had arguments with Singh about his handcart in the area. The victim and the accused argued when they were drunk, and Singh took the knife he kept in his cart and stabbed Suradkar. Raikar, who was also present there, assaulted Suradkar as well, said the police. Locals said that Suradkar and his friend would take fruits from Singh's cart but never pay for them.
