Accordingly, arrangements were made for his accommodation at the Senior Officers' mess, State Reserve Police Force, GRP VIII, Goregaon, and a vehicle (Maruti Ertiga MH-01-CP-1343) was arranged for Tiwari," reads the statement.
It added that all courtesies befitting to an IPS officer had been duly extended to Tiwari. The Maharashtra Police Officers (MPO), Worli, was presently inoperational due to Covid.
The Bihar police have been alleging that the Mumbai Police haven't been cooperating with them in the probe and that their IPS officer (Tiwari) was treated badly.
