AIIMS Nagpur wins inter-collegiate quiz
Nagpur: For the first time, AIIMS Nagpur organized an inter-collegiate quiz competition on its campus in MIHAN. AIIMS Nagpur also won the contest.
AIIMS Nagpur conducted “UbiQuizone’, a Vidarbha-level quiz in biochemistry, on February 15. The Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS Nagpur, organized the quiz for MBBS students in which all medical colleges of Vidarbha were invited.
This was the first time that an intercollegiate quiz was hosted by the the premier medical institute under the guidance of Maj Gen (Dr) Vibha Dutta, SM, Director and CEO, AIIMS Nagpur.

Dr Seema Garg, organizing chairperson & amp, Prof and Head, Department of Biochemistry welcomed all the participating teams and faculty. The quiz competition had an innovative and unique format. Dr Siddharth Dubhashi, Prof and Head, General Surgery, AIIMS Nagpur, was the observer for the quiz and impartiality of the quiz was ensured by an independent quizmaster.
A vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Dnyanesh Amle, Assistant professor, Deptartment of Biochemistry and Organizing Secretary of UbiQuizone.
AIIMS Nagpur was represented by Abhijeet Brizwasi and Swayam Swaroop Misra and emerged as the winners of the quiz. The teams from JN Medical College, Sawangi Meghe and Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur were the first and second runners- up, respectively.
The Quiz Competition was an academic feast for students as well as the faculty members from the institute and other participating colleges. The quiz was highly appreciated for the innovative rounds and impartial conduct.
