Puducherry minister Kandasamy, mother and son test positive for Covid-19

PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry welfare minister M Kandasamy and his son, K Vignesh, tested positive for Covid-19. Two days ago, his mother, Rajammal, had tested positive for the infection.
All the three have been admitted to Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education (Jipmer).
Healthcare authorities said a maid working at the residence of Kandasamy tested positive for the infection a week ago following which all the members of the minister’s family were subjected to medical examinations.His mother tested positive for the infection first and was admitted to Jipmer on Monday. The minister and his son tested positive on Wednesday and were admitted to Jipmer.
