Dozen injured as SUV overturns in Amreli

Rajkot: A dozen-odd people were injured when the SUV they were travelling in overturned between Chhabhadia and Bhingrad villages of Lathi taluka in Amreli district on Thursday.
“The accident occurred when the driver of the SUV applied sudden brakes in order to save a biker going ahead,” said an official from Lathi police station.
The injured were shifted to the hospitals in Lathi, Damnagar and Amreli.The victims were on their way to Toda village from Dhamel village to attend an engagement ceremony.
