Himachal Pradesh reports 30 new Covid-19 cases, total count reaches 1,243

Thirty new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Himachal Pradesh on Monday, which include 21 from Solan district, 4 from Hamirpur, 3 from Kangra and one each from Shimla and Mandi. The state also saw 11 patients getting recovered, including 8 from Hamirpur district, 2 from Una and one from Kangra.

SHIMLA: Thirty new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Himachal Pradesh on Monday, which include 21 from Solan district, 4 from Hamirpur, 3 from Kangra and one each from Shimla and Mandi. The state also saw 11 patients getting recovered, including 8 from Hamirpur district, 2 from Una and one from Kangra.
Total number of positive cases in the state has now reached 1,243 of which 292 cases are active, while 927 positive patients have recovered.
The state has a recovery rate of 74.57%.
Of the total tested positive 13 have migrated out of state, nine have died of Covid-19 while two deaths of positive patients from Chamba and Shimla district have occurred due to non Covid reasons.
A total of 64,359 persons were put under surveillance in the state till Monday. Of them 43,873 have completed their 28 days of surveillance, while 20,486 are under active surveillance. So far 1,01,200 persons have been tested for Covid-19 of which 99,695 have been tested negative, while results of 262 samples were awaited.
