Gujarat: Bear attacks woman near Devgadh Baria
A woman was attacked by a sloth bear in a village in Devgadh Baria taluka of Dahod district. The woman has been admitted to Godhra civil hospital for treatment.

VADODARA: A woman was attacked by a sloth bear in a village in Devgadh Baria taluka of Dahod district. The woman has been admitted to Godhra civil hospital for treatment.
The incident took place on Tuesday morning when Kusim Rathwa had gone to her farm in Ankli village to collect fodder for her goats.
She was working at the farm when the sloth bear rushed in and attacked her.
The bear bit Rathwa on her body and head. The woman raised an alarm and hearing her cries people in the vicinity rushed to her help. The bear escaped and slipped into the bushes nearby. Rathwa was initially rushed to the Devgadh Baria government hospital for treatment from where she was referred to Godhra.
