BHU healthcare MoU with Silicon Valley venture

VARANASI: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on Friday entered into a partnership as ‘sister’ institution with Tenacity, a Silicon Valley venture, to develop affordable and accessible healthcare ecosystem focused on clinical care, education and research.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard has been signed between BHU and Tenacity.
University spokesman Rajesh Singh said with Tenacity’s key partnerships established in the US, and BHU’s talent in India, the ability to leverage the best of US and India talent would enable a unique value proposition to advance healthcare in India.
“Through its expert medical faculty members and scientists who are dedicated to teaching, research and innovation besides providing quality health care consultation, and infrastructural facilities, BHU has joined hands with Tenacity for establishing and running a world class health care service in India,” he said.
He said since BHU is at the forefront of creating and running best health care services in the region at affordable cost, collaboration of Tenacity with BHU, world class health care services would be possible in India.
