Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor Khan's 'Good Newwz' continues to excel while Deepika Padukone's 'Chhapaak' has a massive drop at the box office

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh's starrer 'Good Newwz' which released in 2019 has been doing a good business in 2020 as well. The Raj Mehta directorial is in its fourth week at the box office and has managed to do a business of Rs 4.20 crore from the first four days of the fourth week, according to the latest report on Box Office India.
Not only that but the film is also nearing the 200 crore milestone as it has currently reached a stupendous total of Rs 193.16 crore in the domestic circuit.The film is doing this well due to its unique storyline and the audience are loving the camaraderie between the leading actors of the film as well.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Meghna Gulzar's film 'Chhapaak' which stars Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey has reached a mere total of Rs 29.70 crore as the film managed to rake in only Rs 3.95 crore in its second week after earning Rs 25.75 crore from its first week in the domestic circuit.
Both the films are of different genres as one is based on the real-life events of Laxmi Agarwal who is an acid survivor. On the other hand, 'Good Newwz' revolves around two married couples trying to conceive babies but ends up in a major goof-up during in-vitro fertilisations (IVF).
