'Dabangg 3' box office collection update: Salman Khan starrer witnesses slow growth in its third weekend

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha's film 'Dabangg 3' hit the big screens on 20th December 2019. The film also marks the big Bollywood debut of Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Saiee. According to the latest report on boxofficeindia.com, the film collected 2.50 crore nett in its third weekend.

The report also revealed that the collection was 80% down from its last weekend. The film showed good growth on Sunday as mass markets showed went up but it hardly mattered as the collections are so low.The total collections of the film are around 134.25 crore nett and the film is probably looking at a 136-137 crore nett finish.
Directed by Prabhudheva, the film was dubbed in South in three languages but these did not fair well collecting under 5 crore nett. Other Bollywood films like 'Padmaavat' remains the top films in dubbed versions as it did around 13 crore nett in the dubbed versions.

The film which also features South superstar Kichcha Sudeepa in a lead role. It is a prequel to the other two parts of the franchise. It is based on the back story of the Robinhood aka Chulbul Pandey. The film is expected to continue to rule single screens till the time Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior’ and Deepika Padukone's 'Chhapaak' hits the screen i.e this Friday.
