Aditya Roy Kapur and Mohit Suri part ways on 'Ek Villain 2'
After the huge success of their last outing 'Malang', Aditya Roy Kapur and director Mohit Suri were all set to team up for another action-thriller 'Ek Villain 2'. But according to a close source, the actor is not more a part of the project anymore.
A source to the production revealed, "Aditya has opted out of the project due to creative differences with Mohit. The actor wanted to have creative control over of the script of the film which led to issues between him and the director."
While the first instalment of 'Ek Villain' released in 2014, it starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead role.
With filmmaker Mohit going ahead with the decision of a completely new star cast John Abraham, Disha Patani and 'Student of the Year 2' actress Tara Sutaria will be seen in the sequel.
Mohit even took to social media to announce the project with a bouquet of flowers attached with initials 'V2' and smiley balls attached to it. He had captioned the post as "Let the fight begin !! Bad v/s badder!!"

Meanwhile, amid the ongoing pandemic, Mohit has also been working on the first draft of Malang's sequel as he recently shared a glimpse of his laptop's screen with 'Malang 2' mentioned on it. On the other hand, Aditya will soon be seen in Anurag Basu and Mahesh Bhatt's upcoming projects.
