A couple of months ago actress Parineeti Chopra bowed out of Ajay Devgn's upcoming film 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' and now as per the latest reports Rana Daggubati has also opted out of the project. The actor was supposed to play a lieutenant colonel of Madras regiment in the film. Reportedly due to health concerns Rana has taken this decision.
As per a tabloid, the film requires Rana to perform high octane action sequences.
The makers and the actor tried to look out for possible options to retain him, including hiring body doubles, but unfortunately, things did not work out and they mutually decided to part ways.
However, the report also states that date issues can also be the reason for Rana's exit. The actor's schedule was supposed to start around October but it got delayed, and now, his stint is slated for next month. Since the actor is busy with his upcoming film Hiranyakashyap, he decided to opt-out of the ensemble drama. The makers have already started looking for Daggubati's replacement.
