Anushka Sharma ‘alarmed’ by a report of more COVID-19 like outbreaks due to exploitation of wildlife

As the world is still fighting its one of the toughest viruses in human history, the nobel coronavirus, the deadly pandemic has affected every sphere of life including Bollywood celebrities. To this, Anushka Sharma was spotted ‘alarmed’ by a report of more COVID-19 like cases of outbreaks that have resulted due to the exploitation of wildlife.
The ‘Sui Dhaaga’ actress took a moment on her Instagram story to show her concern about the alarming rise of outbreaks.She shared a snip of a report from the United Nations that features outbreaks similar to COVID-19 that have occurred due to the wildlife exploitation by humans.
Anushka wrote in her story caption as, “This is alarming.”

Earlier, the actress had also urged people to be kind to each other during the pandemic and not discriminate against COVID-19 patients and medical professionals. She had also voiced against people abandoning their pets amid the coronavirus pandemic.


For those who might not know, Anushka Sharma is a strong supporter of animal and wildlife protection. She had also announced anew digital campaign #JusticeForAnimal demanding strict punishments against animal cruelty.
