Bhumi Pednekar on Beirut explosion, "This sent a shiver down my spine, 2020 can’t imagine it getting any worse"

An enormous explosion in Beirut on Tuesday caused massive destruction at the Lebanese capital’s port. Casualties are being reported while several have been left injured by the massive blast. Netizens have been praying on social media for the victims of the disaster. Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar also expressed grief over the tragedy and shared on Twitter, “This sent a shiver down my spine.So devastating. Our condolences are with the people of #Beirut. We are praying for you. 2020 can’t imagine it getting any worse.”

Previously, Priyanka Chopra had shared, "This is awful. Absolutely devastating. Sending all my love and prayers to everyone affected by this tragedy. #Beirut". Farhan Akhtar had also voiced his sentiments in a social media post, “When your mind does not want to believe what your eyes have just seen. #Beirut and it’s people in my thoughts.”
Several videos of the devastating blast have gone viral on social media. Reacting to it, Swara had posted on Twitter, “Horrifying and heart-wrenching! Cannot imagine what devastation and pain there must be on the streets of #Beirut Ravaged one too many times!”
