Post their wedding, the lovebirds are going to reunite on-screen for the first time in Kabir Khan’s film ‘83 based on Kapil Dev’s life. The actress is going to essay the role of Romi Dev in the film while Ranveer will play the Haryana Hurricane.

Deepika, who is busy promoting her film 'Chhapaak' visited a cricket show. The actress reportedly opened up and cricket and revealed that Ranveer and she watch various cricket matches together. The actress further added and stated the 'Gully Boy' star is a huge fan of football and sometimes they watch matches together.
Further, Deepika revealed that Rahul Dravid is her favourite. She called him her all-time favourite cricketer. She said that a lot of her idols are not what they have done in the sport and the game, but how they have conducted themselves outside. Rahul is somebody whom she admired and looked up to and he is from Bangalore.
The actress will be seen next in Meghna Gulzar's 'Chhapaak' with Vikrant Massey. On Human Rights Day, the makers dropped the much-awaited trailer and it received an excellent response from all the quarters. The film is slated to release on 10th January 2020.
