Exclusive! Kiara Advani on her lowest moment of 2019: Current issues have broken each of our hearts in some way or other

On December 15, the clashes between the Delhi Police and the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University and Aligarh Muslim University took place. Several Bollywood celebrities have come out to express their concern over the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens.
It is the act that gave rise to protests from across the country, got a boost with several big names joining in and standing in solidarity with the students and people.
Now, even Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, who enjoyed the glorious success of her film ‘Kabir Singh’ starring Shahid Kapoor, has joined the bandwagon and reacted on the current situation of the country.
The gorgeous actress in an exclusive interview with ETimes, Kiara spoke about the on-going protests. Without elaborating much on the issue, she said that it has bothered everyone out there.
When quizzed her about her highest and lowest moments of 2019, she says, “I would say my highest was Kabir Singh. My lowest, I don’t want to elaborate on it but I think in some way we have all with certain affairs, the current issues that have been happening in the country have bothered each of us and broken each of our hearts in some way or other. So that would be the lowest point."
On the work front, Kiara is all pumped up for her next, ‘Good Newwz’ which also stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film is slated to release on December 27, 2019. Apart from this, she also has ‘Indoo Ki Jawaani’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Shershaah’ and ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ in her kitty. Kiara is all set to rock and roll in the next year too!
