Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff's 'Baaghi 3' had been the talk of the town for a long time. The high octane action sequences and foot-tapping music had grabbed everyone's attention. The movie which is the third instalment of the successful ‘Baaghi’ franchise had recently come under the radar of Central Board of Film Certification.
The CBFC made a few cuts to the scenes that involved Shraddha's character making the use of cuss words.
While the makers had made sure that they beeped the cuss words it didn't seem to go down well with the CBFC. The film received a U/A certificate from the board and a few close-up body shots of Disha Patani were also cut by them.
Talking about the same in an exclusive interview with ETimes, Shraddha said, "There are very interesting alternatives that have replaced some of the lines. And those are also interesting. But they were never really like out and out verbal abuse (Gaali) they were verbal abuses (Gaali) with a twist, which could be allowed. I mean, which doesn't sound like a verbal abuse (Gaali). So, it's a different twist. I mean, if that's the decision, that's the decision, you have to respect it."
Not only her but even Tiger shared his opinion over the same and said, "They obviously have their reasons and sure it's their job to do what they're doing. As long as they do it in a fair manner and if it doesn't come across as bullying, you know, just to throw around power, because that's easy. And that's something that's uncalled for. If it's done in that manner."
Meanwhile, the film's collections seem to be affected by the coronavirus outbreak but still, it has managed to surpass the advance collection of Ajay Devgn's period drama 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior'.
