65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020: Kartik Aaryan to perform on Shah Rukh, Salman’s 90s hits

It’s Valentine’s Day, and Kartik Aaryan will be busy celebrating the day of love with the film fraternity. The actor will be in Guwahati, Assam for the Filmfare Awards. What’s also special is the day also sees the release of his film Love Aaj Kal. The Imtiaz Ali directorial stars Sara Ali Khan too. Interestingly, his performance in Filmfare also seems to be dedicated to the film.In the movie, Kartik as Raghu is seen opposite Arushi Sharma in the ‘kal’ part of the story. The period is set in the 90s and he is seen as a fan of movies of the era. At the awards show, the actor will be seen dancing on the superhit tracks of the 90s. The venue which is the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, is all decked up. The stage is set up with multiple LED screens that run across one side to the another with graphics that will enhance the visual part of the performances. Kartik will be having a heroic entry, riding a bike as he arrives on stage. He will be dancing on SRK’s and Salman’s hit tracks with dancers in shimmery costumes dancing in the backdrop. He will also be dancing on his current track from Love Aaj Kal as well as from the old film by the same name that starred Saif Ali Khan.


The performance is choreographed by Shiamak Davar who’s choreographing the event. At the venue Shiamak’s colleague, choreographer Marzi Pestonji was directing the team. The 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020 will be held on Feb 15 in Awesome Assam, while it will be telecast on Colors TV on Feb 16 at 9 PM and simulcast on Filmfare’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
