Flashback Friday: THIS is what Ranbir Kapoor has to say about not being on social media
Ranbir Kapoor is one young actor in Bollywood who has successfully kept himself away from social media. His cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan has also been away for long but now even she has finally made her foray into Instagram. When asked Ranbir why he is away from social media, this is what he had said.

In a throwback interview with Filmfare, Ranbir reportedly said that he might not have an active account but he is busy stalking people.
He also added that it is fun doing that.
Talking about the reason why he is not on social media, he reportedly said that he does not want to take that responsibility. According to him, he is too lazy to wish Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday, to wish somebody who has won a badminton tournament to wish everybody, Eid Mubarak. He felt that it is an added responsibility you put yourself into.

Elaborating more, he added that films take up a large chunk of his life. According to him, he does not want another platform where he constantly has to work. He stated that he admires people who do it but he simply cannot do it.
On the work front, he will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ which also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in lead roles. The movie is expected to hit the theatres on December 4, 2020.
