Wendell Rodricks passes away

Padma Shri Award winner Wendell Rodricks passed away at the age of 59 at his Goa home on Wednesday. He suffered from a major heart attack at his Colvale residence. Wendell was well known for his contribution towards various social causes and had designed clothes for many B-town personalities, along with featuring in films like ’Boom’ and 'Fashion'. Many B-Town celebs like Malaika Arora, Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta among others passed their condolences to Rodrick's family.
Varun Dhawan refutes engagement reports

In the mid-week reports were buzzing around about Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal getting engaged on Natasha's father's birthday. As all the guests were seen decked up in traditional wear, also Varun's forehead was adorned with a 'red tikka'. However, Varun clarified on Twitter, “Hey guys before u let ur imagination run wild it was a birthday party. wanted to clarify before any false news is spread cheers”. Netizens also expressed that they would wait for the day when Varun decides to make it official.
Parineeti Chopra gets trolled

Actress Parineeti Chopra aimed at spreading awareness about Coronavirus when she recently uploaded a series of photos of herself donning a mask at the Mumbai airport."Sad, but I guess this is the situation now. Stay safe guys," the actress captioned the photos.However, the post did not go down well with the netizens as they slammed her for allegedly 'spreading fear' besides being opportunistic and turning it into a “fashion photoshoot”. While asking her to take down her tweet, many also schooled her by pointing out that she was wearing a dust mask instead of the N95 mask.
Imitiaz Ali decides to shelve Madhubala biopic

Reportedly, Imtiaz Ali’s was planning to make a biopic on late legendary actress Madhubala. The filmmaker was to make an official announcement on the same today on the occasion of her birth anniversary today on February 14. However, despite all the efforts of the director and Madhubala’s sister Madhur Brij Bhushan, not everyone was on the same page with the film. Owing to the same, Imtiaz has reportedly terminated the contract to make the film.
Pooja Hedge to star in 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'

'Housefull 4' actress Pooja Hedge has been roped in to star opposite Salman Khan in 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'. The actress said she cannot wait to start working on this one with the superstar. The actress took to her social media profiles to share the good news and wrote, "2020 begins in a BIG way! Aah been dying to share this news with you'll @BeingSalmanKhan... can't wait to start working on this one with you... @NGEMovies @farhad_samji...Let's gooo #KabhiEidKabhiDiwali". Salman Khan will be seen in a completely new avatar in the film. The look is currently being decided upon. Pooja is playing a traditional small-town girl opposite Salman's character.
