Photos: Meet the new Raj-Simran from 'DDLJ' as Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi recreate the look for a Bollywood themed party

While Karan Johar, Gauri Khan turned Rahul and Tina respectively from 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and Janhvi Kapoor was dressed up as 'Chandni' (a celebrated character of her late mother Sridevi), there were Neha Dhupia and husband Angad Bedi who re-created the magic of Raj-Simran from the film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'.

Last night saw stars recreating iconic characters from the 90s Bollywood films as they attended a Bollywood themed birthday party of one of their fraternity friends. While Karan Johar, Gauri Khan turned Rahul and Tina respectively from 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and Janhvi Kapoor was dressed up as 'Chandni' (a celebrated character of her late mother Sridevi), there were Neha Dhupia and husband Angad Bedi who re-created the magic of Raj-Simran from the film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'.

Photos of this Bollywood themed birthday party are doing rounds on social media and we are sure they are praised and loved by all. Neha and Angad opted for a secret wedding last year and are now blessed with a lovely daughter. The couple came dressed as the celebrated iconic character from DDLJ -- Raj-Simran and fans are in awe of them. Neha took to her Instagram handle and shared a few pictures of them dressing as Raj and Simran. She captioned,"Recreating #Raj ❤️ and #Simran 🦜 from #dilwaledulhanialejayenge ... all for the love of @bindraamritpal ... #90sthemeparty 📸 @sardarsinghvirk muah @melwanishweta."

The two looked cute together as Raj-Simran. As soon as Neha posted the pictures, fans poured in praises for them. Talking about the details of the dress up, Neha and Angad dressed up as Raj-Simran from the song, 'Mehendi lagake rakhna...' that featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The song is one of the celebrated ones and so are the characters.
