Sidharth Malhotra to romance Alia Bhatt in ‘Aashiqui 3’? Here’s what director Mohit Suri has to say

Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt marked their entry in Bollywood together with ‘Student of the Year 2’ and were also rumoured to be in a relationship. They were to romance in ‘Aashiqui 3’, but soon parted ways leaving the film’s fate unsure. Recently while speaking to a daily, the film’s director Mohit Suri spilled the beans on the cast and said that Sidharth is a friend, they do hang out together but the cast has not been confirmed for the film.Mohit added that he has been working on script and needs to get it right before starting work on it. Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt was one of the producers for ‘Aashiqui 2’ and buzz was that she will feature in the third part of the romantic series.
Alia is currently hitting headlines for her romance with Ranbir Kapoor. The hot favourite couple is rumoured to tie the knot in December this year, after the release of their fantasy adventure film ‘Brahmastra’. Alia has been a constant with Ranbir at events and outings. Be it Kapoor famil’s Christmas lunch or Armaan Jain’s wedding – Alia and Ranbir seem inseperable.
On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra is being linked to his ‘Shershah’ co-star Kiara Advani.
