Sushant Singh Rajput case: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar likely to request centre for CBI probe

Sushant Singh Rajput's father Mr KK Singh filed an FIR recently against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna. Post that, a cop team from Bihar arrived in Mumbai to look into this matter. According to Times Now report, the Bihar government is likely to transfer the case to the CBI.

Sushant Singh Rajput's father Mr KK Singh filed an FIR recently against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna. Post that, a cop team from Bihar arrived in Mumbai to look into this matter. According to Times Now report, the Bihar government is likely to transfer the case to the CBI.

Times Now reported that they are waiting for an official confirmation. The Bihar government is waiting for tomorrow's Supreme Court verdict. The case is to be heard in SC tomorrow, reported Times Now.
After that, certainly the decision about the handing over the case to CBI will be taken by the Bihar Government.


Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14. His funeral was held the next day on June 15 in Mumbai which was attended by his family, close friends and Bollywood counterparts. Mumbai police are currently investigating Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Rhea has approached the Supreme Court for transfer of investigation to Mumbai in the FIR registered against her in Patna.

Fans of the 'Kedarnath' actor have been asking for a probe by Central Bureau of Investigation on social media.
