Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide is now being probed by the Bihar police too, since the actor’s father filed an FIR in Patna against Rhea Chakraborty. With financial irregularities being pointed out in the FIR, former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also urged the Enforcement Directorate to look into the case. He had shared on Twitter, “There is a huge public sentiment about handing over #SushantSinghRajput case to CBI but looking at the reluctance of State Government, atleast @dir_ed ED can register an ECIR since misappropriation and money laundering angle has come out.”

In his seven page FIR, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had alleged that Rhea wanted to claim crores of rupees earned by the late actor.
Citing financial irregularities, the FIR filed by Sushant’s father stated, “After going through my son’s bank account details, I realised that he had around Rs 17 crore in his account number 10XXXXXX91, out of which Rs 15 crore ere transferred into accounts that had nothing to do with him. We demand a probe into all bank accounts and credit cards my son had and how much money has been used.”

With Bihar police investigating the matter, Lalit Kishore, the advocate general for Bihar government had revealed that the Mumbai police has not been co-operating with them. ANI shared on Twitter, “Whenever police from one state go to another state for investigation, then the respective state govt & officials cooperate. In this case, it's unfortunate that they (Mumbai Police) are not cooperating: Lalit Kishore, Advocate Gen, Bihar Govt”.
