Sushant Singh Rajput case: Maharashtra HM Anil Deshmukh says the case will not be transferred to CBI

Yesterday, Sushant Singh Rajput's father filed FIR against the late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and others in Patna. Post that it was confirmed by ANI that Bihar police arrived in Mumbai for the investigation. In a recent interaction with media Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh stated that the case will not be transferred to Central Bureau of Investigation.

Yesterday, Sushant Singh Rajput's father filed FIR against the late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and others in Patna. ANI tweeted, ''Mumbai police are investigating the case. It will not be transferred to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI): Anil Deshmukh, Maharashtra Home Minister on #SushantSinghRajput's death case''.


A while ago, Rhea's lawyer confirmed that petition is filed by the actress in Supreme Court seeking transfer of investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death to Mumbai.

In the FIR filed by the 'Kedarnath' actor's father, he stated that his attempts to contact his son were blocked by Rhea and her family members. He further alleged that Rhea and her family members had cheated Sushant, committed fraud, and kept him confined.
