Sushant Singh Rajput case: "Mumbai Police are not cooperating," reveals Lalit Kishore, Advocate Gen for Bihar government

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had recently filed an FIR against Rhea Chakrbaorty, alleging abetment of suicide and fraud among other things. Post this, the Bihar police have been actively investigating the actor death by suicide. However Rhea Chakraborty had then approached the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the case registered by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, Krishna Kishore Singh, to Mumbai.

Lalit Kishore, the advocate general for Bihar government, stated that the Mumbai police has not been co-operating with them. ANI shared, “Whenever police from one state go to another state for investigation, then the respective state govt & officials cooperate. In this case, it's unfortunate that they (Mumbai Police) are not cooperating: Lalit Kishore, Advocate Gen, Bihar Govt".


It has also been revealed that lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, who is representing the Bihar government has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court, challenging Rhea’s petition. ANI confirmed on Twitter, “Bihar govt has filed caveat before Supreme Court challenging actor Rhea Chakraborty's petition (seeking transfer of the FIR registered in Patna to Mumbai). Lawyer Mukul Rohatgi has been engaged in the case: Lalit Kishore, Advocate Gen, Bihar Govt”.
