Sushant Singh Rajput case: Shiv Sena spokesperson Mahesh Tiwari says Bihar Police interfered in Mumbai Police's investigation
was being conducted by Mumbai Police
Amidst the cold war between Mumbai and Bihar Police over the jurisdiction of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, Shiv Sena spokesperson Mahesh Tiwari has now alleged that Bihar Police interfered into the investigation that was being carried out by Mumbai police. He also alleged that the reason behind it is purely political.

On the other hand, the Bihar police have reportedly claimed that there was an involvement of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray in the case and so they had to step in to further the investigations.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, Bihar after which the Bihar police team came to Mumbai to carry out a parallel investigation along with the Mumbai Police. However, the Mumbai cops refused to hand over the investigation citing that they had no jurisdiction in the case.
After much ado, the centre finally transferred the case to CBI. CBI has now registered the case on their website and would be talking to both Bihar and Mumbai cops as a part of their pan India investigation.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 under mysterious circumstances.
