Throwback Time: When Ranbir Kapoor had a fan moment with his football idol Lionel Messi

Ranbir Kapoor’s love for football is known to all. When he is not shooting, he is most definitely playing football with his group of friends. Pictures of the actor, sweating it out on the ground, make its way to social media and goes viral in no time.
Today, we got our hands on a throwback picture of Ranbir Kapoor with none other than his football idol Lionel Messi. Ranbir is seen having a fan moment with his favourite footballer in the picture.

In one of the pictures, Ranbir is seen striking a stylish pose with Lionel.Dressed in a white shirt, grey waistcoat and blue torn jeans, Ranbir looked dapper as ever. His round hat and cool shades compliment his overall look. In another one, Ranbir is seen taking Leo’s autograph on a jersey.

Ranbir is currently self-quarantined at home with his ladylove Alia Bhatt due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. He was recently all over the news owing to the sudden demise of his father and iconic actor Rishi Kapoor. The veteran actor passed away due to cancer on April 30 this year at a Mumbai hospital.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir will be seen next in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ which will also star Alia Bhatt in the lead. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in key roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 4, 2020.
