Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the most popular and talented actors we had in
Bollywood. The actor, who has his hands full with some promising upcoming movies, had also reportedly lost a lot of films in the gap of one year.
In a throwback interview with a news portal, Sushant had opened up about dropping out of
Mohit Suri’s ‘
Half Girlfriend’. He reportedly said that he was doing many films at that time.
However, it was getting delayed for some or other reasons. He also added that be it the biggest film with the biggest studio or the smallest film, he won’t leave another film. So because of the same, the actor reportedly said that he lost out on 12 films in one year.
Elaborating more, he added that he said yes to
Dinesh Vijan for ‘Raabta’ before he was offered Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’. He added that initially, he was told that both the films can be shot simultaneously. However, that was not the case and he had to opt-out of Mohit Suri’s next. Later, the film went to
Arjun Kapoor who starred opposite
Shraddha Kapoor in the film.
Sushant was also supposed to star in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’, but was replaced by Aditya Roy Kapur. Talking about the same, Sushant reportedly said that he doesn’t have any regrets and this is something he intended to follow for the rest of his life and the days that he was working in this industry. He also added that he gave his word and did not ditch just because he found some other film more exciting and bigger than the film he said yes to.
