Penguin Trailer: A pregnant Keerthy Suresh battles a psycho in this eerie film
Nani, Mohanlal and Dhanush came together on Thursday to release the trailer of the much-awaited Penguin.
Written and directed by Eashvar Karthic, the film sees Keerthy Suresh play a mother and will stream on an OTT platfrom in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam from June 19. Sharing the Telugu version of the trailer on his social media, Nani wrote on his social media, “Happy to launch the trailer of #Penguin. This looks very promising, intriguing and scary.

The trailer picks off where the teaser left; showing the story of a grieving mother whose child, Ajay, is missing. But it delves deeper into the story, showing the essence of their relationship and revealing that he’s lost in the forest near their home. The police find some clues that hint her child is dead, while Keerthy Suresh’s character refuses to believe so. But the trailer also shows Keerthy Suresh as a pregnant woman, so it remains to be seen what the story of Penguin is all about.
The teaser for the film was released by Samantha, Trisha, Taapsee Pannu and Manju Warrier on Monday. Penguin is only one of the exciting projects Keerthy Suresh has lined up. The actress will also soon be seen in Narendra Nath’s Miss India, Nagesh Kukunoor’s debut Telugu film Good Luck Sakhi, Venky Atluri’s Rang De, apart from Tamil and Malayalam films. Penguin is produced by Karthik Subbaraj and was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil both. The film sees eerie music by Santhosh Narayan and shoot for the film was wrapped up in November last year.
