Army College of Dental Sciences introduces online coaching in pandemic situation

HYDERABAD: In the pandemic situation, authorities at the Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS) in Secunderabad have adopted innovative methods for coaching.
Lieutenant General Depender Singh Ahuja, Chief of Staff (COS), Southern Command who visited the Secunderabad Military Station on Monday was briefed by Major General RK Singh, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) on the efforts towards 'Force Preservation’ even with the lifting of lockdown in the ongoing Pandemic.

The General who visited the Army College of Dental Sciences and was briefed by the Principal Dr Ramana Reddy and Registrar Colonel Ashok Venkatraman (Retd) on the performance of the college both in academics and extracurricular activities. The General was brief briefed on the steps taken by the college on the innovative methods utilised for online coaching of the Undergraduates, practical training for Post Graduates and Interns on Working Models/training mannequins and treating of emergency cases with all laid down precautions under Covid conditions.
The ACDS is ranked 23 Nationally amongst Dental Colleges by National Institutional Ranking Framework and is the only Dental College from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in top 10 per cent. He exhorted them to continue to be the best by ensuring good patient care and produce top-of-the-line dental doctors.
