PUNE: Many of the 60 Class XII students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in the city have requested a change in their exam centre.
JNV Pune has been the centre for the exams so far, but the students have sought a change in centre, in their home states, for the final Hindi examination. "These students had returned to their homes in different states across the country once the lockdown was imposed," officials said.
There are seven JNV centres across India. All students are facing similar challenges. A senior official from NVS, New Delhi, said, "We are collating the data of such students and hope for a positive outcome." " Now travelling to JNV Pune for CBSE's Hindi exam is a cause for concern, as our NEET exam date is also close. So we want to change our exam centres to our respective parent JNVs," a student from Uttar Pradesh said.
