KURUKSHETRA:
Mahak Swami from Haryana’s Kurukshetra district has scored 393 rank in the
UPSC civil services exam 2019, the results of which have been declared on Tuesday.
In December 2019, Mahak had got selected as a Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officer and presently, she is undergoing training in Yamunanagar district of Haryana.

Daya Singh Swami is a principal of a government school in Pehowa of Kurukshetra district and her mother Sneh Lata is a teacher at a private school in Kurukshetra.
Mahak Swami said, “In December 2019, I got selected in HCS and presently, I am under training in Yamunanagar district.”
Asked about her education and journey so far Mahak said, “I completed my BTech in the field of Electronics and Communication from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra in 2013. Following I did jobs for three years in the private sector in Noida and Gurgaon. Then I left the job and started preparing for the civil services. I have cleared the UPSC exam and achieved 393 rank in my fourth attempt.”
When asked about the field in which she would like to work, Mahak said, “The field would be selected depending upon the rank. I want to work as an officer of the
Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or of Indian Police Service (IPS) and will not take anything less than that. I want to serve in north Indian states but ready to work anywhere in India too.”

Mukul Kumar said, “She is a very hardworking officer and recently she was attached to Yamunanagar district during Covid-19 under her training process. She is doing her duties with full devotion.”
