PATNA: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Monday hailed the unopposed of JP Nadda as BJP national president and said, “Nadda has a unique talent of taking all along with him.”
The CM also extended his thanks and greetings to Nadda who was born in Patna in 1960.
“The unopposed election of JP Nadda as BJP national president is a matter of joy for Bihar. JP Nadda has an old relation with Bihar.
The state capital Patna is his birthplace. Nadda has a unique talent of taking all along with him,” Nitish, who is also the JD(U) national president, said in a congratulatory message.
Nitish is leading a coalition government with the support of the BJP in Bihar.
“Nadda’s election to the top post of the BJP has come as a great help for Nitish as both leaders know each other very well since the days of Jayaprakash (JP) movement in Bihar, especially in Patna university,” said a senior BJP leader.
At the time of JP movement in 1974-75, Nitish and Nadda both were a student of Patna University. While Nitish was then studying at Bihar Engineering College, Nadda at the Patna College under the same university.
Born in 1960 to N L Nadda and Krishna Nadda, JP Nadda completed his school education at St Xavier’s school near Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Later he did his graduation from the famous Patna college under Patna University. His father L N Nadda was a professor at Patna University.
