Priyanka Gandhi exits government bungalow, moves to Gurgaon

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra vacated her Lodhi Estate bungalow on Thursday and moved to a flat in Gurgaon as a temporary residence. She will finally shift to a rented accommodation in central Delhi which is being readied. The housing and urban affairs ministry had set a deadline of July 31 for vacating the house after withdrawing the allotment in July.

NEW DELHI: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra vacated her Lodhi Estate bungalow on Thursday and moved to a flat in Gurgaon as atemporary residence. She will finally shift to a rented accommodation in central Delhi which is being readied. The housing and urban affairs ministry had set a deadline of July 31 for vacating the house after withdrawing the allotment earlier this month.
The government house was cancelled on the grounds that she was no longer an SPG protectee which was the reason for the 1997 allotment.
