BHOPAL: It was Diwali like moment for chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday who has two reasons to celebrate, first the `bhumi pujan' of Ram temple performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ayodhya while, another he was discharged from the hospital after fully recovering from corona infection. Chouhan said that this is a historic moment and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the leader of five centuries.
"Today I am glad and delighted to witness this ceremony.
A new era is going to start with the bhumi pujan of Lord Ram's temple. My greetings are with all of you (public)," tweeted Chouhan after he was discharged from the hospital. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful completion of the event.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not only ended the 500-year old dispute with efficient leadership, but also paved the way for the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ramlala. There were many big leaders who led the country effectively. The country has seen leaders of a decade and leaders of a century, but our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the leader of 500 years," tweeted Chouhan.
In a series of tweets he further said, "It (Ram temple) was possible only by Modi ji's strong will and Lord Ram's grace. We are all witnesses to the wonderful auspicious work of the construction of Lord Ram's temple with the hands of Modi ji. It is our good fortune."
Chouhan also mentioned RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat who was present during the foundation laying ceremony in Ayodhya. Chouhan said that the country is united after the event. "My respect to Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat ji who was specially present on the occasion. Organisations like Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) mwere formed with the inspiration of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who have done the holy work of nation building. Today the entire country is united as the moment of construction of the temple of Lord Ram has arrived," tweeted Chouhan.

The chief minister also hit out at the opposition parties and said there was no tension during the entire event. "During previous governments there was tension, curfew on the issue of construction of the temple across the country. Today there is neither tension nor curfew. The whole country is delighted, happy and joyful in this historic moment," said Chouhan.
He said the entire country is fortunate to witness the moment of bhumi pujan of Ram temple. "The result of the miraculous leadership of Prime Minister Modi is that the whole world is witnessing this wonderful moment. Modi ji has shown strong will and determination. The whole country greets him," said Chouhan.
The chief minister's official residence was decorated with colourful lights and earthen lamps to mark the occasion. Chouhan was also welcomed by the family members on his return from the hospital.
