TRUTH
Ministry of Defence's Tezpur Public Relations Officer (PRO) called these reports fake.
The verified handle of PRO Defence Tezpur (Assam/Arunachal Pradesh) put out a tweet rejecting these claims.
"The news of vacation of villages near #LAC are fake & malicious. The public of #ArunachalPradesh & #Assam are advised not to pay heed to such rumours and get all news confirmed by authorities before retweeting it (sic)," the tweet read.

The deputy commissioner Tawang too clarified that there was no truth in these reports.

"This is with reference to a report in the social media wherein it is mentioned that sources revealed to EastMojo that villagers of Taskang village near the McMohan Line in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh vacated their village. This report is incorrect," said the deputy commissioner in a letter addressed to Arunachal Pradesh government.
"Taskang village is not a permanent village and it is only a camp where people from villages of Zemithang circle who are working in Border Roads Organisation are camping," the letter stated.
East Mojo updated its story by carrying these tweets and stood by what it reported earlier.
