Pak resorts to unprovoked firing on LoC


Jammu, Apr 7 (IANS): The Pakistan Army on Tuesday resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, defence sources said.

Around 7.40 a.m. the Pakistan Army initiated firing with small arms and shelling with mortars along the LoC in Mankote sector. "Our positions are retaliating befittingly," sources said.

Till last reports came in firing was continuing from both sides in the area.
