Puttur, May 1: Malikuddinar central Juma masjid of Uppinangady in Puttur taluk showed an exemplary act of humanity by buying the medicine that was required for a person in Bengaluru and sending the same through ambulance.

The masjid is doing this service for several people as there is shortage of supply of vital medicines due to lockdown.

Leader of administration committee of Masjid Shukoor Haji and social worker Ismail Tangal Siddique Aathuru were present. Due to lockdown it is very difficult to get vital medicines. In the wake of this scenario, the noble act of masjid committee is lauded by one and all.
