The Hyderabad Management Association (HMA), in its 11th Managing Committee meeting (webinar), decided to go in for an e-AGM and e-election in view of the Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictions thereof.

The members of HMA located in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh cover a wide range of management personnel from different industries and different walks of life, encompassing large-scale industries and MSMEs, besides individual and life members.

Nagesh Vishwanatham, President of HMA, for the year 2019-2020, in a statement said that his term ends on June 30, 2020. The e-AGM will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020.

The management will go for e-election and e-AGM, as around 90 per cent of the members were in consensus. HMA is following its parent, the All India Management Association’s footsteps, in conducting e-election and e-AGM.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is the apex body for management in India, with over 37,000 members and close to 6,000 corporate/institutional members through 68 Local Management Associations affiliated to it.

AIMA is an important and long-time member of the Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO), which promotes professional management in the Asia Pacific region. India (AIMA) took over the Presidency of AAMO in 2019 and will hold the AAMO Secretariat for the next three years.
